Available hard disk space The Symantec System Recovery for Linux installation requires 50 MB of free disk space. If you intend to install and use the option for extracting and creating a Symantec Recovery Disk, you should have at least 200 MB of disk space. You should have sufficient hard disk space on a local hard disk or network server for storing recovery points. Be aware that the file sizes of resulting recovery points are affected by the amount of data that you intend to back up.
